Ring Nebula, M57
M57 (aka NGC 6720) is a planetary nebula: a shell of ionised gasses blown out from a red giant star in it's final stages before collapsing to be a white dwarf. Skywatcher 80ED with Canon 7D attached, captured from my back garden about a mile from Hull city center (yes, yes, I know... mad, really!) in June 2015.
