Steve,

Contacted Paul and have got the information I need to put together material in the appropriate format for a duration of 30 to 40mins. This will give me something to do whilst I am away. So I'll aim for the 22nd - I have to be on Brough site that week so my plans should not change.

Regards,
Doug

Steve,

I'll pop round to the club tomorrow evening if you or Paul are going to be there and we can discuss. I am actually travelling back from South Africa the night of the 13th - my visit should have been next week possibly rolling over to the Wednesday of the following week - but it's been put back such that I travel later next week. It's one of those things unfortunately.

Regards,
Doug

Doug,
Contacted Paul and he agrees that Friday is short notice but is keen for you to go ahead. Actually the open weekend would of been great, especially if the weather is poor, but never mind. The 22nd would be fine, i'm planning on doing something earlyer but if we know your coming then fine, we'll be set up for you. I think we have the Brownies down that night too, but they'll be away by then. Dec will fall near Christmas ( 27) so that can be mixed. Best we chat.
Cheers

Steve,

22nd November would be a good possibility if 21:15 start is OK as I have domestic commitments (when I am at home) which prevent me from coming any earlier. Failing that there's December which would not be a problem as schools are out. Probably best if we sort out by phone - Julian's got my home e-mail, or you can look me up in the book. I'm certainly keen to do it, it's just a case of getting the arrangements sorted.

I was hoping to get down on the 13th Nov for the open weekend, but unfortunately something has cropped up work-wise which has torpedoed all that weekend.

Regards,
Doug

Doug,
Thanks for the relply, it would be great to do that for us, but can'nt guarrente a decent size audience since our club meetings are 4th Mondays so the next would be 22hd Nov and so on, since we've just had our Oct meeting. It was partially clear this meeting so we opted to do some veiwing, which is rare for club meetings !
Friday nights could turn out to be 3 or 4 depending on the weather, but if we plan it there could be a few more

Cheers
Steve

Steve,

I was wondering if anyone would be interested, and yes I'd like that. I could probably make this Friday as it's half term and I don't have the usual taxiing to do. Appreciate it's short notice but I'm afraid I'm off again on Monday for a week and schools etc are back. Friday nights after about 8:30 I could make. I have a DVD which I could show (lasts about 20mins).

Hi Doug,
Looks like an interesting journey, would you like to give us a talk some time at BLAS, and share your experience ?
Let me know
Cheers
Steve .
