I wanted to make a different telescope. So a 10 inch F9 was born. The idea was so ridicilous that it just had to be done. In the process I decided to try something different with the trusses. End result---a telescope that exceeds all my expectations. Optically it is very good. During first light I could see Rigel's companion easily. And the unconventional trusses works very well. Movements are smooth and controllable. Vibrations dampen out in afraction of a second. I am happy.
