About Me
I have been interested for sme time and even have a scope sat in my living room that I used to use but sadly the light pollution makes it very difficult. |

About Me
Hello. I am a 60 year old retired mail. I was in the shipping business for 38 years and took early retiirement. My wife & I are big Hull City fans and have been pass holders for many years ago . Our hobbies are travelling both in the Uk and overseas and for the past 2 years we have done road trips around Europe . My wife has always has had an interest in Astronomy and I bought her a good quality Telescope for ger 60th birthday but we are both as 'green as grass' when it comes to the subject and how to use it properly. We would like to frequently attend the Club and welcome any help/guidance anyone can offer us. |

About Me
Daughter of Julian. Had the pleasure of watching the doom being built, but sadly havent been up there for a while.
Before the doom was build the telescope was at Georges house and we had the best view of the moon with all the craters, it was fascinating.
Love watching the sky at night, and had the most incredible experience when in Egypt in the desert watching all the stars, the moon, the milky way, shooting stars and such a clear night, it was amazing. The Egyptians were not poor as they had 3 motorised telescopes. I was in fact told that there are not shooting stars, they are shooting stones !! |

About Me
Son in law of Julian, and totally new to this stuff, but the more I delve into it, the more fascinated with it I become. I find myself looking at the sky when driving home in my truck and checking the Planets App on my Iphone and checking locations of the planets and constellations. I have had the pleasure of seeing the Dome at Blackburns, and met George and others, and since then, I did some viewing in the darkness of the Sinai Desert whilst on honeymoon in Egypt, saw the Milky Way in its "cloudy" best and have been kinda fascinated since. |
